- Introduction:
The National Cadet Corps is an Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters located in New Delhi, Delhi, India. Interested students from educational institutions can voluntarily opt for NCC through the unit available in their institutions. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force and it is always committed to grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and responsible citizens. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades. NCC with their motto of unity and discipline has been carving the social moral value of the cadets enrolled. The NCC Unit of Chilarai College, Golakganj has been actively functional from 2004. The Girls Division was introduced in 2022. The total intake capacity of the unit is 40. The unit is under 7th Assam BN. NCC Dhubri.

- To produce human resources for providing leadership in every walk of life and to show readiness for the service of our nation.
- To develop a suitable environment to motivate the youth for building up a career in armed forces.
