CENTRE FOR ETHNIC STUDIES AND RESEARCH (CESR)
Chilarai College is one of the few colleges of the State that has a Special Registered Research Centre formed under the patronage of former Chief Minister of Assam,Late Sarat Chandra Singha.The centre has been carrying out research works in the area of Ethnic Art,Literature, Cultura and History. The centre has already published several books and several publications are underway.Dr Jyotirmoy Prodhani was the founder Secretary of the centre.
RESEARCH FACILITY
The college provides material support to scholars to carry out research on ethnology through its resources at the Centre for Ethnic Studies and Research(CESR).
SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP
The college has been regularly organizing both departmental and general seminars in the college.The college has already organized National and State Level Seminars ,Special Lecture Programme and Workshops with the support of UGC,ICHR,ICSSR,Sahitya Akademi,Sangeet Natak Akademi and other organizations.
